“If there’s something I can do that will have an impact, I’m going to do it," says Jennifer Wilcox in the Penn Engineering Magazine.

Jennifer Wilcox was featured in Penn Engineering Magazine for her achievements in environmental and clean energy conversion research. Wilcox, who earned her master's in physical chemistry and PhD in chemical engineering in 2004, is the Presidential Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering and Energy Policy at the Kleinman Center for Energy Policy and professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania.

The magazine highlighted her research on carbon-removal technology and the development of novel climate solutions such as increasing carbon storage in forest biomass.

“I get excited about these projects and working with students on cutting-edge ideas that have a solid pathway to positive climate and environmental impact,” Wilcox said. “I’m ready to get going.”
