UA Launches New Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering

Environmental engineers are in high demand: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 15 percent increase in employment of environmental engineers between 2012 and 2022.
The University of Arizona is responding with a new bachelor's degree to train them. The environmental engineering major, launched in fall 2015, is open to eligible freshmen and sophomores.
