UA Recognizes CHEE Faculty Member with Teaching Excellence Award

CHEE lecturer Kasi Kiehlbaugh received the Undergraduate STEM Education Teaching Excellence Award in spring 2017. She and CHEE Distinguished Professor Paul Blowers collaborated to teach the Elements of Chemical Engineering II Course, developing course plans and teaching strategies that highlighted each other’s strengths.
“Kasi continues her growth as an instructor by actively participating in faculty learning communities that focus on philosophical discussions about teaching, peer observations and practical implementation of new strategies,” Blowers wrote of Kiehlbaugh in a nomination letter.
