Space walkers need hobbies, too.
Astronaut Don Pettit, a 1983 alumnus of CHEE's doctoral program, took hundreds of thousands of images during his three missions aboard the International Space Station. Some of his best photographs – including haunting starscapes and familiar landmarks seen from above – have been collected in a new book, Spaceborne.
