Oct. 4, 2019
Mallory McMurray, a CHEE graduate student, won a scholarship from WateReuse Arizona at the organization's annual symposium. The WateReuse Arizona symposium gathers state water professionals working together to "encourage and assist communities to achieve sustainable water supplies through reclamation and reuse."
McMurray recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, and is currently working on her MS in chemical engineering.
The $2,500 scholarship is to "encourage and support full-time students whose research focuses on wastewater reclamation, water reuse, and/or desalination and who will pursue a professional career related to WRA's mission."
