CHEE Student 'Seizes the Day' After Serious Bike Crash

Gabriel Schirn, a double major in chemical engineering and piano performance, never has a dull moment – and that's the way he likes it. When he's not in the lab or the practice room, he might be found perusing a book of poetry, swimming, running, volunteering with friends or even knitting.
