New Instructor Brings New Polymers Course Curriculum to CHEE Department
Aug. 13, 2018
After completing his postdoctoral work in the department of materials science and engineering at Stanford University, assistant professor Adam Printz became the newest faculty member of the UA Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. Before joining the department, he earned his PhD in nanoengineering from the University of California, San Diego.
Printz's research will focus on improving the mechanical and chemical stability of solution-processed electronics such as perovskite solar cells and organic solar cells. In the fall semester, he will be teaching the brand-new course CHE 497/597: Introduction to Polymers, which will focus on the chemistry, morphology and properties of polymeric materials.
